/ MY STORY

Hi, I'm Chef Marie!

My love for pastries started at an early age in my grandmother's kitchen.  Every year we would make endless varieties of cookies together for Christmas, baking with so much love & care.  My sister and I would decorate each one by hand and help package them up to send to family & friends.

Now, I'm on a quest to carry on the tradition of family recipes that bring others so much joy & happiness!

My professional culinary journey began in Paris, France at the famed Le Cordon Bleu.  It was there that I learned the art of French cooking & baking. After working in a 2-Michelin star restaurant in the heart of Paris, I returned to my home in New Orleans. I was fortunate enough to work at some of the finest restaurants in the city; namely, Stella!, Bayona, Root & Square Root, which shaped me into a well-rounded Chef.  I even co-owned my own restaurant, Aglio, where I enjoyed creating special, family-style experiences for our many regular guests. Now, my focus is on bringing back the recipes that built my culinary memories and elevating them to a new & exciting place.
